I feel like this is always a thing.

Far less kids drink tea, but when you get to your mid 30s and suddenly sugary drinks and alcohol hit you like a ton of bricks, a nice cuppa is all you can handle most nights and you grow to learn that it really is very pleasant.

gf's daughter drinks tea, but it's pretty much unrecognisable as such. Half a pack of sugar, litres of milk and the teabag barely even gets a look in.
