Something that happened or was uncovered recently anywhere in the world. It doesn't have to have global implications. Just has to be informative in some way.
Post guidelines
Title format
Post title should mirror the news source title.
URL format
Post URL should be the original link to the article (even if paywalled) and archived copies left in the body. It allows avoiding duplicate posts when cross-posting.
[Opinion] prefix
Opinion (op-ed) articles must use [Opinion] prefix before the title.

This just seems so pointless. 5 euros doesn't seem like it's going to significantly reduce the number of visitors, and it's literally just a money pit.
5€ is pocket change for tourists, I've seen people buy selfie sticks for 20€ while in Rome
This is just a maneuver to extort money from visitors. Venice is a public city and if the municipality needs money they can tax residents like any other city. Except that nobody want to live in Venice because of reasons, so they want to exploit tourists. If I were a foreigner, I would simply change my destination.
