But it's always shocking that people are still figuring it out every single day, and then just openly pulling a trump and letting everyone know they just found out by saying "no one else could have possible known this because I didn't!"

Absolutely true, and tbf, the articles are 80% written well. It's the headline creators trying to get eyeballs that are most to blame. I'll the read the headline and sometimes it doesn't even pertain to the article or the article was written by AI. They know that most people only read the headline.
Very well put. Obfuscating these facts is part of the objective for any billionaire media owner - and it’s clearly paying off.
If any of you find out that any of these people take up independent (ie real) journalism, please post about it a ton on here.
It's more important than ever to find and support local, independent news. The major news outlets all have corporate and capital biases that are going to get worse.
Not so much local, but Democracy Now is a fantastic independent news source

I understand why NYT didn't lay off their newsroom, the transition happened long ago. It's extremely biased if you look at it everyday. WaPo had good articles, but obviously mid-life-crisis guy won't let that continue.
