Oh god, not the start menu applet with list of everything, I hope it is optional. I like how in gnome you don't have that ugly fucking menu with everything under the sun packed into it.

Community Rules
Follow the Code of Conduct
All posts on pop_os must adhere to the Pop!_OS community Code of Conduct. https://github.com/pop-os/code-of-conduct
Be helpful
Posts to pop_os must be helpful. When responding to a user asking for help, do not provide tongue-in-cheek responses like "RTM" or links to LMGTFY. Linking to direct sources that answer the asker's question is fine, but it's advised to provide some explanation as to how you got to that source.
Critique should be constructive
We within the Pop!_OS community welcome helpful criticism or ideas on ways to improve. However, basic "It's bad" or other simple negative comments don't help anyone fix anything. When voicing a complaint about something, try to point out ways the complaint could be improved or worked around, so that we can make a better product for it.
This rule applies to both Pop!_OS and its projects as well as other products available from third-parties.
Don't post malicious "advice"
It can be funny to joke about malicious commands, however this is not the venue for it. Do not advise users to run commands which will lock up their systems, steal their data, or erase their drive. Examples of this include (but are not limited to) fork bombs, rm, etc.
Posts violating this rule will be removed, even if the post is clearly in jest. Repeated offences may lead to a ban. You may understand that the command isn't serious, but a new user might not.
No personal attacks
Posts making a personal attack on any user will not be tolerated.
No hate speech
Hate speech of any kind will not be tolerated. Any violations will be removed, and are grounds for a ban.
It's a free country. it would be nice if it's available as an applet even if it isn't enabled by default. Some people like the Linux Mint layout.
Oh yeah and 8. when making custom keyboard shortcuts it doesn't let you enter the key combination to define it, you have to go by the name of the keys, which are not defined anywhere. Other shortcuts mention the shift and super keys but don't specify the name. typing "Super+Control+x" isn't accepted, for example
- Text will vanish from dialog boxes if you click on ti wrong
At some point Settings will support keyboard shortcuts by pressing them. They just didn't come around to it.
The correct keyword to add a shortcut for "Control" is "Ctrl". E.g. "Super+Ctrl+X".
There are issue trackers on Cosmic's github repos, and they welcome any bug reports.
-
The "Application" menu isn't a list, but all apps are available to scroll through in the library home.
-
Suspend works, maybe search for an existing bug report (likely for cosmic-comp).
-
Might be a bug in cosmic panel. The .desktop file has the correct icon in it, as well in the launcher.
-
If you use a app image manager (or install a theme with more app icons), they should work flawlessly. Cosmic follows the freedesktop standard for .deskop file, so if you put them at ~/.local/share/applications, they show up like any other installed app. I guess an appimage manager is in scope for cosmic.

A bug worth reporting to the comsic-comp issue tracker.
-
PWA's do have an icon in the app launcher.

How does it break? For me, date and time each take up two lines, but they are shown correctly imo. Or you want both to be shown in one line each, which could work for larger sizes of the panel?
