yeah its a very nice radio, came already widebanded which i didn't know and has a panadapter fitted which i suspected, previous user was blind so didn't know or use it.
currently grappling with getting the ALC right on transmit.
Ill assume you know the legal status of txing a non type approved radio on CB or PMR bands. Not that it is liokely to be noticed if you keep the power down. But do not be suprised if many hams critisize you for it.
I remember a very good youtube vid by some young ham on ALC setting. Ill have a look see if I can find it if you like. Assuming you have not already found it. Was pre covid. So will take me a while to find.
yeah i know its not legal but also know ofcom has no interest in stopping it as long as you don't interfere with other services, even though its a quality radio i have a Comet CF-30MR connected.
