We have a raccoon and opossum that come our porch to eat the cat food we leave out for the local stray.
Comic Strips
Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

I personally know at least three people that would also just adopt the raccoon if they came up to the door
Four
Five.
Have they ever actually been close to one? Raccoons are assholes.
"Yeah, that's just a common misconception amongst raccoons!"
This quote has just been rattling about in my head since 1996. I remember it was from a LAZ-E-BOY commercial. I remember two raccoons did a mission impossible style break in on the store just to sit in their chairs.
Everything else about the commercial? Including what that line was about? I have no idea. But it still makes me laugh almost 30 years later.
............how the fuck.........
Ok, that was a lot less mission impossible than I thought. Unless there was an alternate version where they came down the chimney on a rope, hanging from the ceiling.
But seriously though, this is probably the same commercial that I was thinking of. How the hell did you just find a 30 year old commercial at a moments notice based on a vague and mostly wrong description?
Here I was thinking people were going to call me out for saying theres no way I'd remember the phrase if I can't remember the commercial, and then YOU show up!
.......are you Jesus?
Not Jesus. It was quite easy to find from your description (laz-e-boy, racoons, 1996)
That's what Jesus would say! I'm on to you 👀
They better hope they're not in New York state.
A friend of mine had two, named them Amy and Rory
me
Almost how my mother gets her cats. Usually the actual cat shows up at another person's house, but my mother gets them because that cat turns out to be smuggling kittens into the house inside itself.
