I think this is the first time I've seen a Zork reference basically anywhere really

I was pretty shocked when I saw the pattern online.
This is amazing!! So nostalgic. I love the glow in the dark message.
I never did beat that damn game.
Go back, play it again. It's still pretty damn solid, for its age. Hell, it can be worth digging in deeper, too. There's a surprising amount of Zork titles.
I just might!
You can play it on frotz or just online in a few places.
Thanks for the tip!
Nor did I. Granted, I was only 3 or 4 when that game game out for the C64, but I did try my best!
That's awesome, especially with the glow in the dark bit. I would totally buy one of those.
No game has ever home close to Zork for me. I was the right age for it, and there was so much imagination in it, and more importantly, it inspired so much imagination in the player. Nothing wrong with new games, but nothing's ever come close to that feeling.
YOU ARE THY DUNGEONMAN!
Ye find yeself in yon dungeon. Ye see a SCROLL. Behind ye scroll is a FLASK. Obvious exits are NORTH, SOUTH and DENNIS.
Get ye flask
Ye cannot get ye flask.
It’s beautiful! I love the little mailbox and the secret message.
Right in the nostalgia.
Excellent
I would buy one of these if they were for sale
The pattern is for sale. And cross-stitching is pretty easy to pick up! (It's not my pattern. I stumbled on it and had to make it)
I tried to use glow-in-the-dark thread for a Halloween piece and it did not work at all. I was so disappointed. Some people online suggested holding it up to a bright light for a while, I did that and still nothing 😭
My eyes just bugged out of my head. this is the coolest thing I've seen on the internet all day
You should post this in the cross stitch community! I'm sure everyone there will like it, and I'm totally stealing that hidden message idea lol
I actually tried to (the instance I subscribed to) but I kept getting an only mods can post error.
