I think you mean Round the Twist, not Round the Bend. Was also an excellent show, loved it so much as a kid!
Knightmare was great!
Two different programmes (both great) Round the Bend was puppets and toilet humour - a crocodile doctor and some rats who lived in the sewers. I oddly remember the title of "Doc Croc's Nursery Spot", but can't remember what it actually was.
