Every time I see the name Jarred Gillett I get flashbacks to the horrific call against us for what would have been the winning goal vs Palace when VAR first started.

When he landed the prem job I remember being appalled. I considered him one of the worst referees in the A-league at the time. He absolutely struck me as the "loves the limelight" kind of ref we all hate.
Give the candid statements from Mike Dean etc, you do wonder how much they've tried to sabotage VAR. Hiring a shit guy to be part of it would help with that agenda.
Especially against Man U, I'm happy with this. It could be much worse.
