It sucks that this is how humanity has to learn these lessons. "Sure, we've done a holocaust before...but have we done a holocaust during the age of the internet with a bunch of propaganda saying it's not happening?"
What you would call "a bunch of propaganda" here: How is any of this even remotely similar to the Holocaust?
Either you are an example of what I would call the propaganda, or you're in the bubble.
Literally, read the article. There's no world where "11,355 children, 2,955 people aged 60 or older, and 6,297 women" slaughtered is anywhere close to reasonable. It's not even that they are collateral damage, civilians make up HALF of casualties that we know about!
Literally, Netanyahu's campaign slogan was "It's Us or Them".
Their officials and supporters state in no uncertain terms that the time has come to eradicate all Palestinians.
Experts at the UN have said there are "reasonable grounds" to believe the bar has been met for genocide, and while the UN won't officially label it as such, they have officially told Israel that they are required to 1) "prevent a genocide", and 2) get out of Gaza immediately. But Israel continues to flagrantly disregard both instructions.
Meanwhile, the right wing media sweeps it aside with inhumane, Onion-level headlines like "UN revises Gaza death toll, almost 50% less women and children killed than previously reported". As though that...justifies something?!
It's not subtle, they're not trying to hide it, they are in the process of eradicating a rival religion from the face of the earth because they know they're in the position where every other first world country will help them do it, no questions asked. And we all just have to sit and watch it happen.

Are you saying that when Hamas are caught lying it shouldn't be reported?
Were you also outraged when Hamas said 500 Palestians were killed by IDF bombing AlAhli hospital and all the media outlets reported this as fact but the responsible ones later apologized and reported that was a blatant Hamas lie?
Should we never correct stories when the facts come to light?
Similarly there were no children killed by Hamas during October 7 despite some crazy Israeli guy lying in his "eyewitness" report (later debunked). I'm sure you were happy to have that be corrected.
I am happy for all of the above to be corrected without having to frame it as justification for atrocities.

I just watched some videos by a 19-year-old kid who wanted to study psychology in college. The first video I saw wqs about an easy meal to make in difficult situations and a reminder that people were starving. He was murdered on August 28th from indiscriminate bombing.
Israel claims it has killed 17,000 militants, without providing evidence. It does not provide an estimate of civilians killed in Gaza.
And Hamas doesn't provide an estimate of militants killed.
It does not distinguish between civilians and fighters, but a majority of the 34,344 dead can be identified as civilians based on age and gender alone. It includes 11,355 children, 2,955 people aged 60 or older, and 6,297 women. There are also many civilian men of fighting age who have been killed.

There are only 13,107 of the dead who could be men of working age, so Israel's claim of 17,000 militants killed is very unlikely to be true unless Hamas fighters include a lot of women, children and old people, or unless Israel is saying it knows it has killed very many more people than reported.
