I accidentally all Gboard layouts and can’t enter my password anymore. I do have some other keyboard apps, but they don’t load immediately after booting. adb shows no devices, probably need to unlock and allow USB debugging… I thought about connecting a hardware keyboard. How would that work?

If it's USB-C, either you plug it straight in, or you get an adapter or a dock or anything that converts USB-C to an A port. Most laptop adapters for that will work just fine.

If it's USB micro B, there's a thing called an OTG adapter that gives you a regular USB-A port as well.

Then you just plug it in.

Do you have a bluetooth keyboard? That would probably work as well.. though not very common lol.

You need to unlock it to pair new devices, you can only turn Bluetooth on and off while locked. That could be really exploitable otherwise: just pair a keyboard, wait for the user to unlock their phone and install a remote control app via keyboard sequences.

Oh yeah, i was thinking something previously paired, where all you need is the BT on, but thats even more of a longshot. The only reason i brought it up is cause I have a bluetooth keyboard/trackpad combo device that I've used on my phone once or twice
