I suppose Fat Ass thinks with a shutdown, the polling places will be empty, and cheating will be easier for him?

Every time there is a shutdown, the Republicans get their asses handed to them.

The dems should put out a funding bill that includes the border bill that the Republicans killed and promote the fuck out of it.

again? they really shouldn't have the first time. But you know how it is. the farther the republicans go to to crazy-town, the further right the dems go.

Oh noes. the republicans are scared of democracy and will shut down the gooberment! fuck that. let them shut it down and run adds explaining why the border is less secure with the shut down. (and why goverment services that their constituents depend on are no longer being taken care of... and everything else.)

Dems right now are just pushing for a clean CR that continues funding without any other conditions attached to it

[–] t3chskel@lemmy.world 2 points 2 months ago

And if history is any indication, they will likely get it

Just to be clear to everyone, they are defecting TO shut down the government.

“If we can’t shut the border down, I’m in favor of shutting the government down,” Mills told reporters.

Either way it kills the farce of a bill that they attached. They either get a shutdown, which voters always hate and blame the party responsible for (I.e the GOP) or they have to work with dems who will only pass a clean CR.

Win win if his party doesn't even let it out the gate.

Everyone is tired of yours and Trump's BULL.SHIT.

You deserve everything bad that happens to you, Johnson.

God hates Johnson, so he sent a hurricane to his state.

Harris should push a committal answer on Trump on a government shutdown. Will he support a compromise bill from the Speaker to avoid a shutdown? Point out how he killed the bipartisan immigration bill and ask if he’s going to do it again.

Dems absolutely should DEMAND the fuck out of border bill. No compromise. That will completely deflate orange asshole’s talking point.

[–] magiccupcake@lemmy.world 8 points 2 months ago

No he doesn't have talking points. He just spouts whatever bs gets him the most attention true or not
