I always had the impression, China was more of a Linux country. Too bad.

Most software still runs on Windows. I'm sure theirs is mostly pirated.

As we have seen in months past when Linux takes a sizable dip, it's correlated to a rise in the Simplified Chinese use.

Can someone explain? How does the user's language affect the % of Linux users?

There's a lot of Windows piracy (both OS and software), this helped Microsoft to boost Windows adoption; thus China, and Chinese language, account for an heavy boost in Windows overall adoption on global statistics (lot of people).
