Whatever happened to Poe? I remember for like 10+ years she said her label blocked her from releasing any new music but nothing ever came
Her record label merged with another and her contract got cancelled. Then a shitty lawyer fucked her over and she wasn't legally able to release music under her name for years. Really awful.
Also, fun fact, she helped her brother Mark Danielewski edit and promote the cult classic avant garde novel House of Leaves.
Thatβs a really good TIL. Thatβs a bit of a legendary book.
