  • Brush: AP Shave Co Summer 28mm G5C

  • Blade: Feather Hi-Stainless (4)
  • Lather: Barrister and Mann - Seville - Soap
  • Toner: Thayers - Lavender - Toner
  • Aftershave: Barrister and Mann - Seville - Aftershave

2 passes. Face lather. Excellent shave.

I'm headed on travel for a couple of days. Seville was a nice way to start the trip.

I just had this Armonia set land today, courtesy of u/chicagogroomingco, for my LG prize. Thank you again, Vida!

The scent is very nice, with a lot of tobacco leading the way, which I was hoping it would. Darkwing is super slick and pairing it with the Iberia is always a treat.

Close and comfortable shave, no nicks or irritation.

I agree with you about Darkwing. Iโ€™ve decided to use it for AA.

Oh nice choice! Which set?

[โ€“] gcgallant@sub.wetshaving.social 3 points 4 months ago (1 children)

Iโ€™m thinking 1889 soap/spash, Moar Boar, Frio 14, and Guerlain Jicky (if it gets here in time). Naturally, Iโ€™ll be riding this horse headless :)

That sounds like a great setup for a month! I'd like to grab some Jicky at some point.

I like the idea of using a r/wetshaving brush and soap/splash for AA

  • Brush: Zenith 506B MB (27 mm ร— 55 mm Manchurian badger)
  • Razor: Fatip - Lo Storto - Testa Dentata
  • Blade: Derby Extra
  • Lather: Barrister and Mann โ€“ Oceana (Soft Heart)
  • Post Shave: Ralon โ€“ Sport
  • Fragrance: Stirling Soap Co. โ€“ Island Man

Today is already the last day of the beach portion of our summer break. It went too quickly, but it was also great. Djunior loves the water and made great progress learning to swim. Great shave with Soft Heart Oceana today.

Saturday, July 27, 2024: Saturday shave

After my Olympics adventure yesterday (crowded place, heavy rain, couldn't see the river even though I must be among the tallest 15% of males in France), I had backpain, and took it easy today. I used the red tiger balm on my back today, and I must say I like the scent. If there were a tiger balm shaving soap, I would definitely buy it.

There was not much to do today, since it rained more or less the whole day (a sure sign that the President has lost the Mandate of Heaven).

Have a good night!

  • Brush: Summer Break Soaps w/Maggard 28mm Silvertip Badger
  • Razor: Ever-Ready Streamline Jewel Gen 2
  • Blade: Personna GEM PTFE (6)
  • Lather: Barrister & Mann - Petrichor - Soap
  • Post Shave: London Razors - Mountain Laurel - Aftershave
  • Fragrance: London Razos - Mountain Laurel - EdP

Inspired by @sahenders@sub.wetshaving.social 's shave yesterday, I whipped out my Jewel. Incredible shave. Just as efficient as the MMOC that I've been using, but with a bit less blade feel. Both razors are great, but this one feels premium.

And of course, here's a link to the curated article on our wiki, taken from the late 120inna55. https://wiki.wetshaving.social/Curated_Articles/Streamline

but this one feels premium.

It's that extra weight. So decadent ๐Ÿ˜Š

Are you an esteemed owner, as well?

Very esteemed, indeed ๐Ÿง๐ŸŽฉ

Just as efficient as the MMOC that I've been using, but with a bit less blade feel.

It's an efficient, super smooth shaver.
