I've been pretty much insta-buy on every dlc that came out since I started playing, starting with Taurox's dlc, and this is the first one I'm gonna sit out I think.

Pricing for chorfs could at least be argued but the math for Shadows of Change pricing just doesn't add up. Especially for other regions.

I've purchased every DLC and game, at release, since the original Total War: Warhammer in May 2016. This is the first DLC I am not buying because the value has completely dropped off.

To me, the series peaked sometime late in TW:WH2's cycle. The third game has been fun in doses, but just hasn't felt the same. It doesn't keep me in "one more turn" mode. The majority of the battles wind up feeling like a chore instead of the highlight reels of your campaign map choices.

Thousands of hours in this series and I'm sad to see CA cap it off with a price gouge. So it goes...

Well I'm late to this one... but no. I completely missed the announcement because of Baldurs Gate 3 and Armored Core 6 and have zero interest in paying for a threadbare DLC at 50% the price of BG3 in AUD.

Nah, I skipped the chorfs and I'm gonna skip this one, too. I don't see the value; I can buy two of these dlcs or buy almost an entire new game. Especially when the patching has been so infrequent and ineffective. I'll probably reconsider if the patching changes, though, and buy it on sale down the line.

It makes me a little sad; I love Tzeentch and the Changeling campaign mechanics look cool. Even their YouTube partners that usually help a ton with marketing are revolting a bit on this one, though.

Patch-wise, I agree they need to do better. I kind of suspect this game has gradually grown too big for them to actually maintain properly. If they had been upfront and acknowledged their failure to properly fix the game, the community reaction might have been a bit better.

That statement they made came across more like "buy this so we can fix the content you already paid for" though.
