I’m impressed by how he had to construct the back half of that guy.

I was looking at the pattern on the ground for any signs of editing too. Dude's a pro.

[–] hswolf@lemmy.world 15 points 4 months ago (1 children)

me too, the only one I noticed was the lamp and wall decoration behind her head, it's almost imperceptible, but its a so very slightly tilted mirrored version of the right side lamp/decoration

Also the floor design behind her calf should have a white knot (?) to match the others in the pattern, but it is missing.

There's a decent chance he went there and took a pic in the same spot. He's done it before

[–] Klear@lemmy.world 48 points 4 months ago (1 children)

In that case I'm even more impressed that guy stayed there the whole time.

Or just a reverse job fake post

(I know this is a joke, but there are people who think this way)

I'll never understand how people think their photo is the most important thing, and get upset when people don't clear out of a public place for it.

Main character syndrome, aka "Don't you know who I am?!"

[–] thetreesaysbark@sh.itjust.works 16 points 4 months ago (1 children)

It's cool to not get in the way when people are trying to take a picture, but it's also fine if you do. After all you're in a public place.

[–] scrubbles@poptalk.scrubbles.tech 7 points 4 months ago

Definitely. I try to make way if they're just trying to get an honest shot, and if they're doing it respectfully. The people who do it and get in everyone's way doing it (like on a crowded sidewalk)? Nah, just walk right through, can't expect everyone just to move for you because it's photo time.

Photobomb - anyone who is in a pic of me that I don't want to be there regardless of whether or not they are aware of my existence.

[–] fluxion@lemmy.world 29 points 4 months ago

Was hoping he'd be slightly more Ryan Gosling-looking after the fixup

[–] Pingudiem@lemmy.world 21 points 4 months ago (2 children)

Looks like she was photoshopped into both pictures actually.

[–] AFKBRBChocolate@lemmy.world 17 points 4 months ago

I was looking at that too. Hard to say for sure, I'm not a digital forensic, but it looks kind of that way. Which would explain how he had the full details of the man behind her.

[–] The_Picard_Maneuver@lemmy.world 5 points 4 months ago (1 children)

I don't think this guy would pull that. He's pretty popular for his photoshop skills.

[–] Annoyed_Crabby@monyet.cc 8 points 4 months ago* (last edited 4 months ago) (1 children)

I'm with OP, it's waaaaay too good to be a reconstructed picture of the dude and background.

Edit: okay, upon close inspection, it seems like it's really are shopped, a few detail of that man doesn't makes sense(the sling bag goes the wrong way and his left shoe got painted over a bit), seems like he actually painted the guy. That's super pro

[–] MrShankles@reddthat.com 2 points 4 months ago

Also, the floor pattern where her left calf was (our right), is blended over rather than having the pattern's white knot design. So it seems he definitely moved her with a photoshop. Still crazy how well he rendered the rest of the man in the background. The dude's too good to seem real, which is an awesome compliment imo

[–] Kolanaki@yiffit.net 12 points 4 months ago (1 children)

I'm disappointed they didn't make the random dude a fat Ryan Gosling.

[–] thetreesaysbark@sh.itjust.works 7 points 4 months ago

I was hoping he'd turn her into Ryan gosling tbh.

[–] MargotRobbie@lemm.ee 8 points 4 months ago

But I was expecting to see fat Ryan Gosling... 😔
