I don't seem to be able to comment on any posts on other lemmy instances. For example https://infosec.pub/c/privacyguides@lemmy.one . When I try to comment it just spins. I expected issues with lemmy.ml but I've now tried several instances and experience the same problems.

Also comments on many posts don't match what you see if you go directly to the remote instance to view the thread.

Is there some federation issue with infosec.pub?

Sorry all - I've been focused on trying to debug login issues with lemmy. I will see what's going on about this.

I've seen much less activity today, so I'm assuming there's some issue with the instance.

I've noticed this too. Comparing All+New with other instances, this instance is not retrieving most of the posts from the network. How do we reach the instance owner?

I'm convinced Jerry is actually never around or working on the instance.
