This is cool. I also read China is coming up with interesting designs for winter greenhouses which maintain above freezing temps using only solar radiation and in some pretty far northern latitudes https://www.motherearthnews.com/organic-gardening/chinese-greenhouses-for-winter-gardening-zm0z17amzmul/
