This is a pretty sharp way for them to have a legal reason to crack down on and deport migrants from the MENA region. "because you're brown" is not as palatable a reason as "because you haven't grappled with Germany's history and become a Zionist"

I'm reminded of that story about Germany having immigrants tour a death camp as part of a pre-citizenship education program, then the German guides getting upset when the reaction wasn't "oh my god look what we did," but "oh my god look what they might do to us."
The Reich has managed to limit liability and outsource risk for their fascism via Israel the same way oil companies create shell companies as liability shields. Truly the most appropriate modern form of fascism.

The logical path of progression from here is that "there are no Jews, there are only 'Israelis'" and "Hitler was right that they were foreigners incompatible with German culture, but his regrettable mistake was not "returning them all to Israel". From there it's a simple commitment to ensuring the racial integrity of the "Israeli homeland" by restricting the immigration and citizenship of "Israelis in denial" who are guilty of "autoantisemitism" for not wanting to "go where they belong".
In totalitarian third world badcountry, the government forces you to swear allegiance to warlords and other rogue states, even when they're in the middle of carrying out ethnic cleansings. If you refuse, others will be forbidden from hiring or harboring you, you will be marked as an outsider and hunted by the regime's enforcers.
Also if I ever apply for German citizenship I'm signing this document 07/10/2023 while locking eyes with the bureaucrat that oversees this bullshit.
