Unless they recently slashed their prices, I'm not sure who it is that can even afford GW minis nowadays to drive this expansion... I mean, I love their work, but it sure as hell ain't me. I got bills to pay, y'know?

Unless they recently slashed their prices
Good one!
I’m not sure who it is that can even afford GW minis nowadays to drive this expansion…
They are seeing continued sales growth, so something is working.
I think part of the expansion under way is because they've been bringing production back to the UK given various issues that hit their release schedule.
I mean, clearly, and it's obviously not just the video game license royalties either! As a quick aside: I'm so happy there's a glut of amazing Warhammer games now! And just in time for my adult wallet to support buying them, too 😊
But while I can afford the games, I look at the prices of the minis and shrivel a little. Far too rich for my blood - I used to be able to save up pocket money to buy them. Now I need to refinance my mortgage to build an army hahaha
It's not just the price of the minis, it's the flood of books you need to keep up, which, in turn, may make your current army uncompetitive or even unplayable, so you need to but more minis.
I tapped out and moved to Star Wars: Legion.
