Love to live in a country where I'm a 10th century peasant with wifi who still can't read books because they are in m'lord's library.

Support your homies at Z-library
Z-library is no good. They basically mirror libgen's database and then add additional books without feeding them back/maintaining public databases. It appears to be a for-profit enterprise.
Libgen, annas archive, and nexus are much better for liberating knowledge.
what is nexus? i havent heard of it, mind dming me the detsils?
Basically Nexus/STC is an attempt to recreate sci-hub but in a decentralized manner. Everything is mirrored on IPFS which in my opinion is not that great but it gets the job done. Sci-hub has been frozen since 2021 so new papers are not available. As time progresses, sci-hub becomes less and less useful.
Scientific articles are crowd sourced instead of scraped. If the article isn't on there it can be requested. They also mirror libgen databases.
Also it's named Standard Template Construct as a Warhammer reference.
Here is a link on how to use it.
Time to get a mob together and go expropriate those books. Only digital copies? Can't give us a copy? That's fine. I'll settle for taking the rest of the company's property and then burning down the fucking building instead.
Fuck your IP. These litigious fucks deserve to be bullied.
Download everything
Which publishers? Sounds like I should make a public library of their entire catalogs.
they had books on there? i steal mine from irc
no this is not a bit
Do you by chance have a tutorial
You need an IRC client that supports DCC transfers. There are a number but AdiIRC is good for windows and free. I use mIRC which is paid. In mine I need to add epubs to my allow list otherwise it prompts me. Also might want to check the settings in your IRC client to make sure you are putting the DCC files somewhere convenient.
Then you connect to a server that hosts books. IRCHighway.net has an #ebooks channel.
Once connected to this server and channel you will use the search command to find your book such as "@search morning glory". It will send you a zip containing a text file with the results.
You can copy and paste the result for the book you like in the channel such as "!Firebound %DD3069756FAF% C.M. Nascosta - [Cambric Creek_ Sweet & Steamy Monster Romance 01] - Morning Glory Milking Farm.epub" This will download the epub file.
This is an optional step but I import that into calibre library (another free app) and run a few tools on it before I export it to my e-ink reader in the kepub format (I have a plugin that converts it to the kobo format so my device counts pages properly).
Then you can enjoy your stolen book about a woman who gets a job jacking off minotaurs for a living and falls in love with one who's cock is just right! Hope this helps.
In all seriousness if you want some dope fantasy adventure books I have a few recommendations for instance The Adventures of Amina Al-Sirafi is like an arabic version of The Odyssey who follows a woman who is a pirate off the Arabian Peninsula and goes on a wild adventure involving epic sea creatures, gods, dark wizards, and of course, piracy. It's really strange and wonderfully written. Or if you want a sweet fairy tale that turns into a scifi novel then Strange the Dreamer which gets really surreal as at least a third of the book happens in a shared dream.
no worries, use library genesis and anna's archive. seed some of the torrents if you can.
also if you have spare server space, run the archiveteam warrior to help them archive the modern internet.
I'm really concerned about the other content on the Internet Archive, including old games, movies, music, software, and the Wayback Machine. The precedent this lawsuit sets could be very damaging to digital media preservation everywhere.
like burning the library of alexandria. fuck these people.
fortunately there are backups and individuals can help out with archiving them.
Where they remove books, they also remove people
