Jerboa is a native-android client for Lemmy, built using the native android framework, Jetpack Compose.

Warning: You can submit issues, but between Lemmy and lemmy-ui, I probably won't have too much time to work on them. Learn jetpack compose like I did if you want to help make this app better.

Yup, either put a blank line:

like

this

Or put two spaces at the end of the line (using underscores for spaces):

like__
this

The first renders with a blank line, the second renders without (but the lines are separated). Usually you want the first.

Example of the first:

Hello, this is an example.
This is the next line.

Example of the second:

Hello, this is an example.

This is separate paragraph.

Markdown wants two new lines to do a new paragraph.

Same for ending a line with a \
You just get a new line

And to recreate this example
```
And starting each line like this
Gives a block quote
thought it's not needed if you use a simple line return
or two
