I've met these people in real life. My work attracts 2 groups of people. People who work there because they didn't want to work for weapon manufacturers, and people who work there because the weapon manufacturers wouldn't hire them.
For context, I currently work with non-defense telecom satelites.
Before I got to the ”leftist” part, my immediate guess was r/neoliberal.
The ~~social~~ fascists over there wouldn't have brought up the war crimes, though.
The sub that shall not be named only posts social chauvinist cringe or horny shit. I remember once that some trans people were complaining on that sub about being overly fetishized, only to get backlash and for the whole thing to ultimately go nowhere.
