Currently using Voyager as my main app, was just wondering if there was a way to group communities so that I can just scroll through one group at a time. For example, I would have a group just for stock market related communities or a group just for gaming communities. Does this feature exist?

It does not for now, unfortunately. It is on the roadmap.

Is there a place where we can keep an eye on the roadmap, or specifically on this feature request, to see when it starts getting implemented and tested? I too am greatly missing this option.

As others have said, it currently does not. A workaround that works pretty well, and which I use, is to create accounts on multiple instances and use them as "multi-lemmies" by moving your subscriptions between them according to theme, topic or whatever else you want to group by. A password manager like Bitwarden can help with generating passwords for and keeping track of the different accounts.

I even use different 3rd-party apps

so how many out of these 1,1M total lemmy accounts are yours? 🤣

i mean i am glad it is working for you, but that is the worst "workaround" i have heard about in my life.
