According to the document they have up there, SF2E will be 100% compatible with PF2E. That's a huge win for me - I like Starfinder's setting and vibe, and love PF2E's action economy.

I absolute love the action system from PF2e as well and I'm so super stoked to hear they're working that into Starfinder.

From what I saw, the class they put out in that "playtest" sounds pretty awesome. I don't think it's really an answer to a PF fighter, but it is awesome to have a Heavy with some AOE and crowd control. I think it needs some tweaking, but I am not nearly good enough at balance and game design to suggest what.

But it being compatible also hopefully means the enemies can be used interchangeably in some ways because those laser wolves are amazing.

It being compatible with PF2E makes this look so much more attractive. Because PF2E is good.
