You underestimate my ability to mask. It's literally been automatic for me as long as I can remember. Find the person I like most within 5 minutes, and immediately cling to their style of humor and behavior. Then I stand in the circle and don't speak unless spoken to. Then everyone just assumes I'm a giant teddy bear and don't mind my company.

That's what I did when I moved where I am now. Worked within a couple of weeks. A few weeks later my drunken bombastic personality came out one night and we've all been friends ever since.

It's not the hardest thing for online friends. But irl friends, the only way I even made my last irl friend group was because we met online and found out we lived super close after a few months. So...

How do you ‘meet’ people online?

Well, in the case of the friendships I mentioned above, we actually met on rainbow six siege in 2020 and played a few games together, decided to add eachother and kept playing together for a year or so, then all 3 of us met up when we realised we all lived in the same area. Other friends, I also made back in my instagram meme page days.

Easy.

Was on a road trip with my God father (friend of my parents usually referred to as an uncle) once and we stopped somewhere for gas. I went off to the side for a smoke and when my uncle came over to join me he was like "why is it you look like a local no matter where we go?"

"Must be because I'm so cool." I said. 😎

I can break into those like the kool aid man. Just never ever say 'no' to anything. Ruin your life. Be the clown 😎
