I think it's because this post was made using a Mastodon account which adds escape characters in the post tile.

I think that Voyager was developed to address this "bug", since I experience it on Jerboa, Liftoff and even on the web version of Lemmy.

Interesting. I’d say report the bug to the developers of the respective apps! (Or if it isn’t really a bug maybe a feature request for the apps/frontends to format it nicely)
