For anyone unaware of who Kasparov is, he's a very famous chess World Champion from Russia who held the title for 15 years.

For those who didn't already know, he's always been a vocal critic of Putin, so this comes as no surprise. For more info, read his book "Winter is Coming"

i saw 'kasparov' in the headline before seeing the community, and said aloud "gary kasparov? the chess champion?" and sure enough. fuckin wild.
