I always find it really hard to just go out and simply go around for "nothing", but once im out there its the best thing in the world

My wife and I recently moved to a small town with a privately owned, 2000 acre forest preserve; we took a picnic lunch just a short way in a while back, and I desperately want to explore more of it.
That's awesome. In my case I have to wake up at 5-5:30 if I want to get a 1 hr hike in.
