Interesting how women have zero agency in either scenario…almost like the commenter sees women as accessories to men 🤷‍♂️

If he knew the term femoid, he would have used it.

This sounds like someone who may or may not be in his early thirties trying to justify dating people half his age. Creepy AF

[–] TheFriar@lemm.ee 27 points 7 months ago

That’s…exactly what it is.

[–] Nobody@lemmy.world 110 points 7 months ago (2 children)

Ah, the duality of womanhood. Should she be the victim of a pedophile or a sexual plaything for 50 dudes? Those are clearly the only two options.

[–] HowManyNimons@lemmy.world 87 points 7 months ago

And it is her father that must choose between these options.

[–] Mananasi@feddit.nl 37 points 7 months ago (3 children)

Plus there's nothing wrong with having sex with lots of different people if that's what she wants to do

[–] spongebue@lemmy.world 21 points 7 months ago

Right, like... It's certainly more people than I've had sex with, but if you're being safe, learning about yourself and what you want, not getting into any emotional issues (for either party), and yes... having fun, great!

Also, 50 partners is like one per month through 4 years in college. Not totally outrageous to be honest.

"What woman wants" yeah here's your problem. They don't all want the same thing shocker

And nobody in their right mind would want to see teenage tantrums on their partner at age of 33. I have seen a lot older guys dating women under 18 and let me tell you something. Those guys aint exactly mature or winners. Or then they are just creeps

[–] originalfrozenbanana@lemm.ee 40 points 7 months ago

Some women want to be “run through” by 30-50 people

Some women don’t

It’s like they are…individuals

This 33 year old was the one giving those college girls emotional trauma when he was 18, wasn't he?

[–] Dkarma@lemmy.world 18 points 7 months ago

I love how they pretend 33 is automatically mature 🤣

[–] deegeese@sopuli.xyz 13 points 7 months ago

I’m sure he’d say he’s a “nice guy”

That's assuming (a lot) about the 30 year old knowing more about "what women want" compared to their 16 year old self.

When I was a kid I always assumed there would be a point in life where I'd feel like an adult. You don't, you just get ground into the mould with responsibilities & stress!

The only difference between me aged 30 & 16 is grey hairs & white knuckles. I know jack shit about "what women want", other than "don't be a dickhead".

[–] snooggums@midwest.social 36 points 7 months ago

It is like saying someone who has been divorced three times knows what is needed for a long term relationship.

Experience does not always lead to understanding.

"dem boyz". huh, wonder what he might possibly mean there.

[–] Rhynoplaz@lemmy.world 51 points 7 months ago

This guy really thinks he has the moral high ground here. Eew.

When grooming is life

[–] Honytawk@lemmy.zip 45 points 7 months ago* (last edited 7 months ago) (2 children)

I would rather see her make her own decisions

Also, shouldn't that 33 year old be mature enough to understand not to date 16 year olds?

Half your age +7 rule my dude.

"the life experience to know what women want long term" hey dude a 65-year old woman has the life experience to know what men want long term. Why not go date a cougar?

Or how about be a parent and model for your child how to make good, healthy decisions with their power of reason (however that looks for your family) and trust them to figure it out.

[–] neo@feddit.de 15 points 7 months ago

If a teenager wants to date a 33 year old, that is obviously bad parenting. At that age she should be married for at least 7 years to someone to someone with real life experience, like a great uncle. /s

[–] Lightor@lemmy.world 37 points 7 months ago

If you think these are the only two options you shouldn't be having children.

[–] some_guy@lemmy.sdf.org 36 points 7 months ago (1 children)

"I'm such a terrible parent that I know my daughter will make terrible decisions when she gains her independence because I spent eighteen years fucking her up beyond belief."

[–] tektite@slrpnk.net 16 points 7 months ago (1 children)

More like,

"I'm a 33 year old (virgin?) who has no idea what it's like to be a woman, seeking a girl young enough to not realize that my 'relationship maturity' is that of a 16 year old and I'll certainly give her plenty of emotional baggage. Also, if I ever become a father I'm going to make my daughter wear a purity ring. And no college."

I know nothing about this guy, but I know he didn't get laid in college .

[–] BonesOfTheMoon@lemmy.world 18 points 7 months ago

He has your typical conservative in truck wearing Oakleys profile photo so you know that's true.

I think the best option for women is to get as far away from the creator of this post as possible.

[–] Skkorm@lemmy.world 32 points 7 months ago (1 children)

....this guy for sure r*ped a few people. Like, no doubt. He's out here defending statutory with his whole chest.

[–] BonesOfTheMoon@lemmy.world 19 points 7 months ago (2 children)

He goes for child rape tourism to Asian countries.

Somebody who thinks those are the only 2 choices procreated? 🤔

[–] TheFriar@lemm.ee 28 points 7 months ago (2 children)

Well now, I’m not sure that’s the conclusion we can come to. I think this is a 33 year old trying to justify his desire to date a 16 year old.

Only 30-50 dudes in four years? You gotta pump those numbers up.

[–] AmidFuror@fedia.io 13 points 7 months ago

Those are rookie numbers.

This is the weirdest version of the 30-50 feral hogs bit I have ever seen

[–] son_named_bort@lemmy.world 26 points 7 months ago (1 children)

I once worked with an 18 year old woman who was married to a 33 year old man. There was so much drama brought to the workplace when that marriage crashed and burned. I think there were in a similar place maturity wise, which is what caused it to fail.

Heterosexual age gap is about 2-3 years in the US and parts of Europe. It's almost like women are allowed to choose who they want to be with, and it's not a binary choice between a man with an undeveloped brain (allegedly) and a man who needs all the power in the relationship.

[–] Heavybell@lemmy.world 24 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Dude truly one sees these two options, huh?

I'd rather see her do what she thinks is best for herself.

[–] Gingernate@programming.dev 16 points 7 months ago

Neither? Haha

[–] ZombiFrancis@sh.itjust.works 14 points 7 months ago (2 children)

You know even with that bullshit choice being posited, choice B all day.

I wouldn't shame my daughter, a college grad who apparently practiced impeccable safe sex if 50 dudes in 4 years leaves her with only emotional baggage.

Good for you, hypothetical daughter.
