I'm fine with the top nav bar randomly inserting a bunch of magazines from around the instance. That helps with discovery of new magazines to join. However, the only option I have to view my currently subscribed magazines is the consolidated feed of them by clicking "Subscribed" or going to "All magazines". I just want a list of my current subscriptions, yes, like reddit has. It is a supremely useful feature to go between various magazines.

You can also set your kbin bookmark to https://kbin.social/sub . That'll take you straight to your subscribed magazines.

That's the consolidated feed I talk about. I have that defaulted already to my homepage...so instead of kbin.social I automatically go to kbin.social/sub. I was looking for something similar to https://kbin.social/u/the_thunder_god/subscriptions but in the main navigation bar always.

Ah, I see. I'm still figuring out the whole thread/magaziine/microblog thing, I was just excited I actually knew how to do something. :D

I've been working under the assumption that the user interface will get smoother over time, now that we've got a lot of people trying it out and providing feedback.

https://kbin.social/m/AskKbin/t/51496/How-do-I-navigate-to-subscribed-magazines#entry-comment-217664 This is a browser-only temp fix that can be used while the official subscription button is being worked on you need a browser add-on like Greasemonkey to run the script but I've been using it for a day and it really helps with stuff.

Also if you want more QoL stuff this link as more scripts you can use until official changes are implemented. https://kbin.social/m/kbinStyles/t/27201/kbin-enhancement-script-QOL-updates-for-the-kbin-UI

Yeah I've been paying attention to KbinStyles. Already running a couple so far. That Subscribed button helps until we get something up top.

I really wish "favorites" was actually favorited magazines rather than stuff I've upvoted.

Use the three scripts listed here in conjunction with each other to clean this up

@shazbot created a nice -monkey script that puts a link to your subscriptions at the top, which I've found super useful. Install it with Greasemonkey or Tampermonkey from here: https://github.com/aclist/kbin-scripts/raw/main/subs.user.js
