The problem is this is still alphabetical phonetically. You need to alphabetize the phenomes using the new alphabet, not the old one.

Krumble cromble might be my favourite new thing to say.

What is this alphabet and one if you ordered these words phonetically?

[–] danc4498@lemmy.world 0 points 6 months ago

I did all this through chat gpt. I told it to give me alternative alphabet and pronunciations. Had to finesse it a little.

Is the second instance of E supposed to be A?

[–] danc4498@lemmy.world 4 points 6 months ago

Yeah, probably, I fixed it

Where's A

You missed out the first letter, how do you miss out the first letter.

[–] Fedizen@lemmy.world 4 points 6 months ago (1 children)

probably the second E that's pronounced "ey"

[–] TempermentalAnomaly@lemmy.world 1 points 6 months ago

I'd guess "ay".

[–] wjrii@lemmy.world 2 points 6 months ago

I assume that's what makes it so brilliant!

[–] danc4498@lemmy.world -1 points 6 months ago* (last edited 6 months ago) (1 children)

Honestly, I used chat gpt to generate the list and did very minimal spot checking.

I bet you pronounce aluminum weird too.

[–] Mr_Dr_Oink@lemmy.world 3 points 6 months ago

It's spelled differently so both pronunciations are correct. Aluminum and aluminium.theres an extra i in the UK spelling.

[–] ILikeBoobies@lemmy.ca 1 points 6 months ago* (last edited 6 months ago)

Yeah, Canadians use the American 🤢 way for some reason

That’s why I didn’t comment on “hach”
