Why can I upload an image with a maximum size of 8MB in some instances but can't upload a video with a maximum size of 8MB? (programming.dev)

Doesn't seem to make sense, shouldn't the file size be the only problem?

none actually, I just noticed that some instances (lemmy.world I guess) allows images with a size up to 8MB, but usually they're a few KBs
