Whoever took this has no concept of the upset this has caused the team here at Eardington.

"By taking my toolbox, you’ve taken away my ability to carry on my job."

Or maybe they did exactly know, how stealing those objects would affect them. It looks like an insider job to me. I assume nothing was destroyed and they surely took the key objects, even his toolbox, containing all tools needed to work with the lamps.
