Goddamn Minh Phat. so easy to spend so much on delicious condiments and dried and frozen goods and everything. Most of what I've bought should last me for half a year at least though. The $30 worth of dried mushrooms in particular. 500g goes a long way and these small mushrooms are great as they rehydrate a lot faster, no need to prep so far in advance.

It's a real one-stop shop for all east/southeast Asian essentials, and a great range of vegan products too. They also had those little red shallots that are hard to find fresh, will definitely be heading back for those to make my mum's famous chilli sambol. Our new year is coming up and I'll be glad to take this over to my relatives, didn't think I could recreate it here.
