My experience, cappucinos taste more like coffee because there's more air in the froth AND the chocolate powders adds a dimension.

I prefer flat whites as I hate milk foam.

Also...Coles express might the actual culprit.

So is a flat white as strong as a cappuccino but without so much milk? I understand that a flat white is a bit of steamed milk but I want to know which one is a stronger tasting coffee all round.

Unless you ask for a strong or double shot, you'll get a single shot in a coffee. For a strong tasting one, you can ask for a long black with a dash of milk.
