Donald Trump has repeatedly shown that he can reasonably be described as evil. Yet, white “Christian” evangelicals are among his most loyal, stalwart, and enthusiastic supporters. Moreover, when his behavior and character are evaluated relative to the Christian mythological framework, Trump is actually much closer to being the Antichrist than some type of divine savior in the mold of Jesus Christ and chosen by God as a type of messiah and prophet. In reality, this superficial tension is easily resolved: The relationship between Donald Trump and his fascist MAGA movement and the Christian Right is transactional. Trump is a type of weapon and cudgel for them to create an American apartheid theocratic plutocracy.

In exchange, Trump receives the votes and other support to ascend, again, to the White House – this time as the country’s first dictator – where upon taking power he will proclaim that he was chosen by God. My prediction here is not a spoiler but a preview. During these last few months, Trump has repeatedly made such statements about his divinity and being God’s emissary on Earth.

The douchebag has always been a moron. This is well documented. He started with a fortune, and continued to succeed in business simply by being the biggest asshole in the room.

That's actually my pet economic theory, the Biggest Asshole in the Room. Most successful capitalists are not the most talented, most qualified, most efficient, or most hard-working people in the room. No, if you look around a boardroom for qthe person with the deepest pockets, it is invariably the biggest asshole in the room.

Donald Trump is a master at this strategy, and it has made him wealthy despite his perpetual failures, allowing him to live a life of privilege and excess while destroying anything and anyone in his orbit. His selfishness, narcissism, and lack of self-awareness is the quintessence of the master BAITR.

Trump has never actually been wealthy. Any money he has made has been offset by larger losses and debts. He bankrupted a casino for fucks sake.

Trump is not successful. He is where he is now because he is the useful idiot and is being funded by putin, saudi princes, etc.

Trump is the equivalent of the people you see driving a maserati or a lexus that spend all of their money looking rich while living in a run down trailer or apartment that needs raized.

"Success" comes in many forms. Trump is the king of his own world. He lives in a country club. His acolytes die for him. He was the President of the United States.

I agree with everything you said, except for saying he's not successful. The man gets what he wants, and he's not in prison yet.

He is clearly a Master BAITR.
