Their religion isn't "kill everyone" so who they target is selective. This honestly comes across as Islamophobia - 'they're just monsters, who knows what they motivated by!'

Maybe, but it strikes me as strange that they hate all other sects and national groups except the Uyghurs. Also, they'd be the only group that actually does care outside the West. Very strange.

Not really maybe. In the article they say it, but neofacist cartoon character pic over here you are replying to probably didn't read it. They say it's for the Uyghurs and the support of the Taliban. They don't like the taliban because they are their local authority.
