De Vries first 3 qualifyings in 2023 vs. Ricciardo first 3 qualifyings in 2024

Tsunoda 0.721s faster than de Vries in Bahrain Tsunoda 0.305s faster than de Vries in Jeddah Tsunoda 0.236s faster than de Vries in Australia !

Average: Tsunoda 0.421s faster

Tsunoda 0.149s faster than Ricciardo in Bahrain Tsunoda 0.461s faster than Ricciardo in Jeddah Tsunoda 0.729s faster than Ricciardo in Australia !

Average: Tsunoda 0.446s faster

Data taken from the last qualifying session completed by both drivers.

While true, races give points.

Bahrain Yuki P14 Ric P13 Saudi Yuki P14 Ric P16 Australia Yuki P7 Ric P12

Avg 2 positions better for Yuki

Bahrain Yuki P11 de Vries P14 Saudi Yuki P11 de Vries P14 Australia Yuki P10 de Vries DNF (let’s go with P12 for the comparison, but likely worse)

Avg 3 positions better for Yuki.

So Danny is struggling, but still getter better results than Nyck.

How did you count? I feel stupid, because I can't get the same averages. But I wanted to point out that:

Bahrain Yuki P14 Ric P13

Is not fair to take into consideration. Ricciardo finished ahead because of a team order, not because he was faster.
