No one telling Daniel to back off and try again is pretty sad, not sure if it would have mattered though.

It wouldn't have ... If he didn't have enough gas there was no time for about stop.

In any case, he didn't show anything hiring at performance in the practice runs or earlier quali laps... Unfortunately he is not in the form of years past and by now I doubt he'll get there

I mean you could see on the broadcast,he went completely wide.

They should have cancelled that lap and try to get a fresh lap in,I can't recall if they had enough time for that.

I think it was around 3 minutes and something left when he went wide. Considering how fast he was in that lap he might not have had enough fuel for that.

Yeah maybe they had the time but not sure if they had enough battery or the best tire temp for another run. But it would have been worth a try.
