This soap opera is great.
1 the CEO of Red Bull wanted to fire Horner some time ago, then Horner got the lawyers involved and stopped the process.
2 there's an insinuation that Max will leave to Mercedes. But, here's the thing....he's been silent
3 there are rumors linking Newey and Ferrari
Max will probably quit before even considering moving to another team.
He has already said heβs getting tired of all the travelling and being away from home all the time. Now with 24 races itβs even worse.
Absolutely. You could make an argument for Max going to a different team if Red Bull weren't dominant, but there is no way he would go to a worse team over this Horner stuff.
On current form there's no way Max would join Mercedes. Part of this rumour is that Red Bull's engine for 2026 is behind the competition, and Mercedes are in a better place.
Agreed. However, I'm skeptical the rumors about RBPT being behind or Mercedes being ahead are true. I haven't seen anything besides speculation that's the case, and if Mercedes was showing strong 2026 engine development I think Lewis would have been more inclined to stay with the team.
Yes. There's simply so much speculation at the moment, nobody but Red Bull really know what's going on. It's providing a nice soap opera though.
BAHAHA I'd actually support Mercedes this season if it meant they snipe up Max just to fuck over RBR. I don't really dislike Max but I fucking can't stand RBR and Horner.
I DO hate Jos, he's clearly fucked up his kid, and him imploding the team with Horner is just chef's kissπ€
Newey to Ferrari and I'd start worshipping some god
Lol. What occurs to me is the longer that Max doesn't make a statement, the greater the probability it's not a bluff.
