I hated the long forced pun threads in particular. I just don't see how we can stop it from coming over unless we make explicit rules and enforce them.
I personally found the puns amusing as I find word play enjoyable. Don't forget this is all for entertainment after all.
There are two types of people in this world, those who love puns, and those who lie.
You're entitled to your opinion, I guess.
To be clear moderating them (and other things mentioned) all away would be a lot of work even if there was universal support for it, and there isn't. That wasn't intended as a suggestion.
