Rules
- Keep it civil.
- No memeposts/shitposts. Memes are great but direct them to grimdank.
- Please mark any posts containing realistic nudity or realistic excessive gore/violence as NSFW; this rule mainly applies to cosplay and realistic drawings rather than miniatures. Being that 40k is inherently violent, this is a judgement call, and mods may occasionally request posters add tags.
- No political or social cause agenda pushing.

I'm not a 40k player, or even a model collector, but I enjoy looking at models other peoplw have painted and have passing knowledge of the lore.
I really like the paint jobs you've done - I saw another of your posts the other day, and it was great.
Are there somewhat agreed upon colour schemes by the 40k community? I know some of the human models need colours for their factions (like salamanders etc). Is it the same way with the other groups?
One of the greatest things about building a Tyranids army (or at least when I played during 3rd/4th/5th edition) is that you can more or less do whatever color scheme you enjoy the most. There are more than a handful ideas out there based on the different Tyranid Fleets in the lore though. Also agreed that this person's doing one bangup of a job!
Outstanding work. I didn't mention it, but I like the texture on the spines of your Tyranids. Really cool details
Thanks!
Thank you!
