Welcome to /c/tumblr, a place for all your tumblr screenshots and news.

Our Rules:

  1. Keep it civil. We're all people here. Be respectful to one another.

  2. No sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia or any other flavor of bigotry. I should not need to explain this one.

  3. Must be tumblr related. This one is kind of a given.

  4. Try not to repost anything posted within the past month. Beyond that, go for it. Not everyone is on every site all the time.

  5. No unnecessary negativity. Just because you don't like a thing doesn't mean that you need to spend the entire comment section complaining about said thing. Just downvote and move on.

That site is as dead as Reddit to me now. I don't care whatever it's called

Only as dead as Reddit? Reddit is still a fresh corpse while Twitter has only a few decaying bones left.

Unfortunately it still has a critical mass user base, like reddit, so still here to stay until Elon really fucks up again.

Like you can try to use Mastodon or Blue sky but all the accounts I've wanted to follow are just people posting a few times with zero interactions, and then going back to Twitter.

just people posting a few times with zero interactions

At least they tried. The YouTube creators I used to follow on Twitter only kept complaining about the changes on Twitter but never cared to try anything else. That was until Threads came out. It's as if they want to live in a corporate shithole...

Corporate shitholes have the most people, which means more views, which means more money. They’re actively encouraged to stay off smaller platforms since it’s not as an effective use of their time.

The Fediverse just hasn’t hit critical mass yet.

Yeah people don't realise what shithole these two have become

Twitter has been a shithole since it’s inception.

Reddit only became a shithole like five or six years ago.

Nah, I could follow all the artists I wanted in peace and not have deal with any of the other political doxxing stan wars crap going. Now you can't even do that without the website breaking or pushing paid check mark chuds braindead tweet onto your feed.

I even deleted/deactivated my account months ago, and got an email notification last week that it was reactivated. Who did that? Is Elon necroing all the abandoned accounts?
