*hoard
You are correct:
https://www.merriam-webster.com/grammar/hoard-vs-horde-difference-usage
"The line between hoard and horde gets particularly blurred when the word is used simply to mean a large amount of something abstract, as in reasons or problems. Unless you are dealing with living creatures, hoard is the preferred spelling."
I know I'm correct. Tell those that downvote.
lol, that's essentially what I did. I even supplied a reputable source for you. Oft times this is what's needed. It sometimes isn't enough to only list the correct word/spelling. The link here also helps explain a bit more which can be of further help.
Even moreso, the correction is only of tangential importance so ignore the downvotes. Perhaps some folks feel the topic at hand is far larger an issue than correct spelling.
Nothing is a larger issue than correct spelling.
Yes, this is the one time that "hoard" is the right one.
Along with all the other times it's the right one, yes.
