The devs are communists, as mentioned in the title. Not bad people or anything, but definitely very leftist*.

* from the point of view of many leftists, they're not very far left, and liberals are, in fact, right wing. I'm going with a more average definition here

The author saw someone calling Dessalines a lib with respect to 1 specific thing and took it really seriously

Ugh, Liberals. One day MLs are ultra-leftist tankies, the next we're not even really that left. I feel whiplash right now.
