Hope this is okay.
Not to say it was difficult in the sense of what some people, including myself have dealt with in the past - Flat tyres, late busses/trains or injuries.
One of the regulars gets on the bus and perches next to me in his seat and my goodness what a stench it was. Like going for a sniff of a urinal at 2AM Saturday in the busiest club in town.
So I bear through that assault of the nasal passage for us to arrive at the interchange and an older lady ascends from the pull-down wheelchair area seats and as she does so, she releases the most ear-ringing flatulence from the depths of her bowels.
Not a noise from the rest of the bus. She has timed it to perfection with us coming into the terminal, her seat collapsing behind her with a slam and then she looks around. Like an assassin searching for witnesses, wry smile across her face and the bus pulls in, doors open. She escapes.
I had to bask in that hair burning radiation zone for another 10 minutes before I could leave and no doubt my co-workers all think I've shit myself.
Ah the perfect Monday morning!
