Responses that completely destroy the original argument in a way that leaves little to no room for reply - a targeted, well-placed response to another person, organization, or group of people.
The following things are not grounds for murder:
- Personal appearance ("You're fat", "You're ugly")
- Posts with little-to-no context
- Posts based on a grammar/spelling error
- Dick jokes, "Yo mama", "No, you" type responses and other low effort insults
- "Your values are bad" without any logcal or factual ways of showing that they are wrong ("I believe in capitalism" - "Well, then you must be evil" or "Fuck you you ignorant asshole")
Rules:
- Be civil and remember the human. No name calling or insults. Swearing in general is fine, but not to insult someone else.
- Discussion is encouraged but arguments are not. Donât be aggressive and donât argue for arguments sake.
- No bigotry of any kind.
- Censor the person info of anyone not in the public eye.
- If you break the rules youâll get one warning before youâre banned.
- Enjoy the community in the light hearted way itâs intended.

Towards the beginning of the current school year, I was standing in my childâs classroom with other parents on a âmeet the teacherâ night, when she showed everyone her cabinet of âchallengingâ books â those with LGBTQ2S+ themes and books on very basic (and age appropriate) sexuality. Parents had the option to opt-out permitting their kids from reading books from that cabinet.
I think thatâs a fairly reasonable way of handling such books in the classroom â but at the time as the parent standing closest to the cabinet my first thought was to say (out loud for all the other parents to hear) âOoh, they have Hustler for Tweens now!â.
Sadly, better judgement took hold and I kept my mouth shut. Certain local weirdos who canât seem to stop thinking about what other adults do with their sexy bits in private were fairly riled up at that time, and I decided it was better to keep the teacher from having to defend herself from them were any int he room with us.
