Yesterday's whistle between Spurs and MC which stopped the counter attack was really furious. I can think of no reasons for such a "mistake" - can it be defined as a mistake? People started blaming for game fixing by referee and obviously this is not drafted from nothing.

There is a simple reason for these mistakes, complete incompetence by people who have clearly never played the sport, whether it's at the top level, for an academy, sunday league, or 5 a side, anyone who plays the game understands the clear mistakes they're making.

These referees seemingly don't and are using a rulebook that's been written in a way that means there's very little in terms of black and white.

And a complete lack of accountability for the PGMOL means there's no incentive for them to actually try and improve their game, nor for the PGMOL to train the referees to a higher level
